Leigh Mark Lodge No. 1322 Installation
 Monday 21st. January, 2013.
 
The Installation of Bro. James Alfred Carey took place at Leigh Masonic Hall on Monday 21st. January, 2013.
 
Jim was Advanced into Leigh Mark Lodge on 19th. September, 2005 and moved rapidly through the offices to
be Installed as Junior Warden last year and Master of the Lodge this year.
 
 
The above photograph shows the WM in the Chair and on his right are the IM V.W.Bro. Ian Clark P.G.J.O.,
V.W.Bro. Paul Snape P.G.J.O and the Installation Representative W.Bro. Arthur Robinson P.G.J.D. On the
W.M’s left are W.Bro. Gordon Glover Prov.G.Swd.B., DC of the Lodge , W.Bro. Gordon Archer Prov.G.Stwd,
W.Bro. Kenneth Alker P.G.J.D., Special Representative and W.Bro. Brian Honey P.Prov.G.S.W. Lodge Secretary.
 
James is currently the Worshipful Master of the Craft Lodge of Truth No. 6235 which meets at Leigh Masonic
Hall and he installs his successor in February. He was previously the Master of Derby Lodge No. 1055 in 1992
which was in the Province of East Lancashire. His proposer into Leigh Mark was Bro. William Cheadle.
 
An excellent ceremony was worked by V.W.Bro. Ian Clark . V.W.Bro. Ian is the Provincial Grand Master of the
Royal Order of Scotland which currently meets at Westhoughton Masonic Hall and his photograph and brief
history are included in a separate article.

Following the Installation, the brethren enjoyed a Festive Board before departing into some unwelcoming

weather for the journeys home.
